It's not aimed at the likes of those who hang around here on a regular basis, it's aimed at the newbies who dont;t know where else to look for info on getting started as a contractor.

Still doean tmake it any good, but thats his target market.

What absolute sh!te. Can't begin to imagine why anyone would buy it. The simple fact that anyone would think about buying it would instantly put me off hiring them as a contractor!

    Well, this is fun.

I keep coming across posts I did last night when I was pissed out of my head.

I didn't even know I was online after 10pm; I thought I was playing games.

    £35 well spent or not?

Many years ago I bought a “Computer Weekly” book on contracting abroad. It was so basic. I can only describe it as don’t’ forget your toothbrush type of advice. It is the only book I have ever bought and dumped it straight in the bin.

Is this in book-format or a PDF?

You could try and find it on a torrent...then review and buy

Looking at the index it appears to be just accumulated knowledge of nearly everything discussed on here to be honest. I can't really see what a regular poster on these forums such as yourself would learn from this apart from all the information being offered in a single concise format instead of having to diseminate it out of all the arguing on here.

I personally also have a phobia of these 'buy this book' type websites. To me it markets it on a par of 'get rich on ebay' and 'i made a million from pay per click' so its a no no for me straight away.

I guess for some of the newbies here could be worth it but not for you likes of yourself.
