Every body is onsite and so really, what culture can you expect ?

    Nope it's another way of saying Fixed Term Contract where the person is an employee of the company for the fixed term specified in the contract.

    Yes I do know them well - They have big european and german operations - Not so sure about the UK presence

    They are body shop like others - Buy you at X sell you at Y - When client finishes you will be fired - Overall not bad

    Is that the way consultancies are going now? PAYE contract? I m not even sure I know what that actually means

    I'm being put forward for a contract role (PAYE) with CAPCO and end client is an investment bank.

    Decent rate, 100% remote.

    Does anyone here have a recent experience with them?

    I worked for them as a contractor for a 6 month stint at an IB. The main difference between that and a regular gig is that I was representing their company at all times, so being at work on time and not being seen as slacking off at any point was high on the agenda. You might also have one of their own project managers breathing down your neck daily - this is something that particularly annoyed me because three months in to the contract he was still hanging around 8 hours a day and was being an a** to everyone (and it was just three of us doing the work). I expect the incentive for them is that they get to keep charging for an idle PM that remains on site.

    You'll also need to be comfortable with the fact that whatever your daily rate is, the client is probably paying double that to Capco.

    I wouldn't suggest that you not work for them though. If you're happy with what they offer you and you don't have anything else on the cards, take it.

    CAPCO - Anyone worked here?

    Hi,
    I’m hoping to hear from someone who worked (or knows ppl who worked) for CAPCO in London. I have an interview scheduled for next week. What’s the culture like here? They have a lot of clients in Canary Wharf - do the teams follow client’s work culture or do they make their own rules? Staying late - is this a norm or an exception?
