    If the applicant isn't likely to get it then the sponsor company aren't going to spend the money.
    It rather depends where they were and what they were doing before they came to the UK though, doesn't it. SC is only a few hundred pounds to process, so that's not really a factor.

    Hi,

    I have been in the UK for 3 years now and applied for a SC clearance after getting a job offer. The application was made from the NSVS portal. I was just wondering how long it usually takes for non-UK citizens?
