Previously on "New contract - personal bank statements for gaps in employment required ?????"
This is what they expect. I keep a Google drive directory with scans for all this crap. Two ways to go, send them loads of e-mails or share the directory with the info.
They don't have a right to this information, they also will fail your vet 100% and you can contract somewhere else. This is being driven by the regulators and they will not bypass this.
But the point you're making is that if your bank statement shows only direct debit/standing order payments, and no manual payments, the client will think that you were in jail and refuse you the contract as a consequence?
They could or a more sensible person would realise that people often have more than one bank account, and showing details of that other account could cause DPA issues.....

Read my response above. Dunno why you think people that do this are really that stupid.
Indeed. But I'm not going to argue the details because I don't know. That is the guidance and a general idea is to make sure you are at large in society amongst other things.

Well I don't know. Last time I was in prison I was invoiced for my stay under "Jonathan Aitken enterprises Ltd" and told I could deduct the lot against tax. Who would ever know
And all those trips tesco and filling your car up with petrol.. You can do that from prison or from a terrorist training camp etc?

I was at the Beeb and i had to provide bank statements for the exact same reason. A few month previous i had bought some footie tickets for a mate and he transferred the money back as you do....unfortunately he hilariously thought titling the transfer tranny sex fund would be a good idea!
No one ever mentioned it from the agency but i was a bit nervous and i ended up there for over two years
