Yes, those places, run by Brits purely to attract Brits - they will suffer. Thankfully other countries also have people who travel on holiday.

Spain - tourism is 10% of their GDP. UK tourists account for 19.5% of that, in other words UK tourism to Spain is 2% of their GDP.
Greece - tourism is 11% of their GDP. The UK was responsible for 14.5% of the tourist € spent in 2019. In other words, UK tourism in Greece is 0.75% of their GDP.
UK - tourism is 10% of the GDP. Of the €30 billion spend by foreign tourists, approx €20 billion of that came from EU tourists, or about 4% of the GDP.

Sounds like a massive win for the EU, banning all UK citizens. It will probably be so popular they will make it permanent.

I am sure that putting hurdles in the path of British tourists will go down a storm with those trying to balance the books of the beleaguered economies of Spain, Portugal, and Greece where Tourism is so pivotal.

Still, maybe Mutty Merkel can throw them a few more billion from the Euro pot to buy off their anger.

If it was in the Oxfordshire part of the Cotswolds, he was lying, even Cameron's Tory Witney constituency, which covers part of the Cotswolds, voted 53.7% remain. Oxfordshire overall was close to 60%

After announcing to me it was Brexit country he told me over lunch "We have everything we need here and what we don't have we have in the South of France", he then asked me to email him as he had some work that my company could do (I am that desperate ). "It might take me a couple of weeks to get back to you as we are going to our house in Antigua".

The UK truly has all he needs. The irony of what he was saying, the fact the my company is based in the EU, the fact that it will take 4 months for him to get his labs to his house in France- all was lost on him. It was hard to keep a straight place.

Brexiteers opinions will not change when they are presented with facts.

Failure to answer at all or truthfully - big fine and lifetime ban on visits.
True answer YES will be treated with offer to pay large Brexit damage duty OR lifetime ban on visits.
