Another weird post, you seem to think that the EU is some kind of fictional organisation like SPECTRE or similar whereas it is fact a union of 27+1 countries of which the UK, which includes all it's citizens, is also currently a member. Does this mean that you're also a winner in that you managed to screw yourself over?

I'm pretty sure that Leavers think the EU is run by some mysterious cabal of a mixture people like Goldfinger, Dr. Evil and so on which possibly explains their fantastical imagination re. the EU

You're giving her more credit that she deserves. From the morning of the results, I've maintained that it is not possible for Britain to negotiate a deal that's better than staying in the EU.

If you consider that the EU is likely to go very bad over the next few years, or you are ideologically opposed to the EU, then a hard brexit would be necessary - it's the price that has to be paid.

But the idea that somehow we'd end up better off in anything other than the very long term was stupid from the outset. We'll be better off with May's deal than with no deal. But not as well off as if we'd never left in the first place.

    1. Accept the proposed deal

    3. Remain in the EU

As a remainer TM has played a corker. Deliver a deal so bad no one in their right mind will vote for it, as there is no hope of getting anything through parliament with the lack of a majority she has. The deal gets voted down so we are left with no deal, also not acceptable to parliament or stay in the EU. Hey presto she delivers what 48% of the people who voted in the referendum voted for (including herself) - staying in the EU. Blinding strategy...Or am I giving her more credit than she deserves.
She’s a reluctant remainer (only slightly less reluctant than Corbyn) and I don’t think she’s clever enough for the result to have been planned. Having said that, though, she’s got an offer on the table for what she wanted all along - an end to FoM. Anything else is just window dressing for her. Her only passion through her time at the Home Office, hostile environment and all that.

It’ll get dragged out to the end of the year until the EU asks if we’re signing, at which point the MPs will realise that it’s this, no deal, or no Brexit. We have inadequate planning for no deal, and the MPs have no balls for no Brexit, so they’ll come round and sign it off.

Backstop is what people voted for

Hey, welcome to the thread. Thought you'd all done a runner like your MPs. Congrats on the success of the Brexit negotiations. Hope you're getting what you voted for. I'm loving the chaos in the Tory party; self destruct button well and truly pressed
