Nah! I reckon it's because we're all too helpful on here, easier to ask here than one of those scarey bikers^H^H^H^H^H^H accountants.

Are they simply not aware or unable to grasp that the Company is a separate legal entity from themselves?
Oh you mean that I shouldn't have withdrawn all the money from MyCo's business account and use it to offset my mortgage?

    j/k....

Nah - it's stupidity. When I went contracting back in over 16 years ago, we didn't have the internet. But I knew from day 1 - it's the company's money, not mine. However, if I'd stayed in the UK, I'm sure I would eventually have come to the conclusion that it's Gordon's money.

I understand a lot of the newbie questions and why they are asked. I do get annoyed when a little research would have given the answer, or when the noob asks a question and then argues with a knowledgeable response because it does not fit their world view.
Don't get me wrong. I agree with you entirely.

You'd think that if they had the nouse to find the place, they'd try reading the stickes and 1st timers first.

The only ones I can sort of understand are the "my brolly says etc" as the advice you're getting seems professional enough because you don't know better. But again this is covered in the stickies threads.

its just a learning curve, have a bit of patience. Not everyone is as well read, forums like this are surely there to make it easy to access information and to get answers from people who know something about it. If they challenge, it is their right to try and ascertain if someone on here isnt talking B*llocks.
