Previously on "Has anyone used Clarke Bell or Frost Group"
I used Clarke Bell a couple of years ago for a fairly standard MVL and was entirely happy with the process. The cost was pretty good and the money was transferred fairly quickly.
I used Clarke Bell in early 2020 for my MVL which was a straightforward cash in the bank situation. I had no problems at all and I got 100% of the funds in a single distribution in about 35 days. I can’t comment on the current state of the company but 5 years ago they were great.
The best test is to give them both a call and see how they come across, and whether you feel comfortable with them. Online reviews are generally skewed one way or another and a lack of reviews doesn't necessarily mean good or bad.
Different liquidators offer different levels of service. So one may be good for very simple set ups and another will be better where there's more complicated stuff going on. Fees will vary accordingly. If you owe nothing and no-one owes you anything and it's just about distributing cash in the bank then you don't need a fancy gold plated service to deal with that.
Thank you. My case is straight forward, just transferring funds, no liability or anything.
I used MVL Online last year as have a number of other long time forumites. We know Chris well and he's got a solid history with that business and his old accounting setup he built up. He posts on here from time to time under Maslins if you want to look at the quality of his responses. No need to look anywhere else IMO
Thanks. I will give them a call on Monday morning.

I was wondering if anyone has used Clarke Bell or Frost Group for MVL?
I am planning to liquidate my company and shortlisted Clarke Bell and Frost Group because their price is reasonable and they have good reviews. My only concern is, the Clarke Bell don't have any reviews on Trust Pilot, just google reviews.
