I am human so I can err.
I'm not sure. I did read the original on an iPad but decided to respond on a PC. So could well have clicked the wrong thread. But then again nobody called me out, and you even responded. It wasn't till today I realised the mix up. So who knows?

    Hi there,

    Happy to have a chat.

Having just done a really quick calculation on employment costs, adding average Dutch employers social costs, minimum pension, holiday pay and reasonable payroll fees (its not a cheap payroll to run) to the gross salary of €25000 would be in the region of €33600 total billing. Obviously this is only a guideline as I don't know enough about the contract, client, workers personal circumstances etc to give more tailored costs.

Not sure why the PI stuff came up, but can address that if needed.

not really my are of expertise, but if it's per claim and an umbrella has multiple people on site, I think £1m isn't much insurance. The client isn't going to sue per contractor are they? They'll just hit whoever they can with the biggest sue-ball they can. If the umbrella is liable/responsible for multiple people that is quite a risk.

Having said all that, for an inside IR35 gig the client must shoulder much of the liability as they will be 'running' the project and the staff.

EDIT: OOppppppsss.... I seem to have answered another thread on the wrong thread. @Mods please do the needful and delete the posts. Sorry for polluting a thread with off topic nonsense. It must be the sun getting to me..

When I had PI and took on another consultant, the premium got a bit more expensive. But only a bit.
