Admittedly my current one is not contractor acct but besides one major issue everything's been fine for 3 years.
Still in process of searching for a new one but what is the main difference between a contractor acct and a general one (or say dentist/doctor/cleaner/carpenter one)?
You know that running your LTD in the best way is PRIMERLY your own task, not someone else's, don't you?
You are spending far too much time thinking about this. Give Gorilla Accounting a ring. Myself and a number of people on this forum are with them and they are great. You get Freeagent Portal thrown in and they've got lots of expertise from working with other contractor specialists. They do everything I need at a decent price as well. I just don't see the point of tying yourself up in knots. There are plenty of others in the first post of the Recommend and Accountant sticky which I've revamped.
Stop worrying about it and just pick up the phone and start speaking to them IMO.

Why not have a look at SJD? You've got a London office and are a contractor specialist.

London
I'm sure there some of the contractor accountants travel to London quite frequently, just like ourselves.

There is a long thread on here with accountant recommendations, I suggest you find it.

Recommend accountant in London?
Hi guys,
Can anyone recommend a good old fashioned contractor accountant based in London?
Someone who can help me with my business and individual tax affairs?
Leaving Crunch in pursuit of a more local, personal client-accountant relationship!
Cheers
