Sounds like a pretty grim role. But in reality will it really pan out as bad as it looks on paper. In my experience most places are more flexiable than they document. Most places I've worked have been fairly relaxed on what hours are actually done as long as the work is getting done. I know personally...

I've never really taken much notice of working hours. I tend to work what hours I need to get the job done. It normally means I work more hours but sometimes I get away with less. I've never once been asked to justify my hours and if required to put in a timesheet I just put what I've done and invoice....

My LinkedIn feed is littered with recruitment staff out of work they seem to be having a rough time at the moment. Based off what I see on LinkedIn they are probably being hit worse than IT....

I've done similar setting up a seperate SPV and using it to by multiple BTL properties. I had a large sum in my LTD and basically handed it over to the new SPV as an interest free loan which allowed me to get the ball rolling on buy BTL's (bought them off myself personally). Many benefits one being...

Years ago I did a gig where I was a 1 hour 45 minute communte each way twice a week and 3 days on site further away the rest of the week. The commute was brutal but I preferred it to the nights away as I had a young family at the time. Managed it for about 9 months and I think the only thing keeping...

I was out for 5 months at the start of the year with not a peep for most of that time even though I was furiously working my contacts, Jobserve, LinkedIn etc. It was getting so bad I was starting to think I was done for good. Eventually got a gig that was about a 30% drop on my previous role. The previous...
