I only ever really engaged with LinkedIn for finding work purposes and keeping in touch with former colleagues (and giving them a hand when I was in a situation to help).
Now my feed is full of people doing hot takes on AI, Testing and vague advice on how to get a new role.

I think it started life as a genuine attempt to decide if you personality would fit in somewhere, as in someone from a structured Investment Bank might not thrive in a start up, but it has become code for ‘you are different to us and we don’t like that’.
Which long term weakens organizations...

I always found BAs highly useful at sitting between the technical and business sides but as you say the job title seems to have fallen out of favour.
Same is happening with Testing at the moment and imminent with Developers with the rise of AI.
i am out the game now so anyone...
