Not fat or lazy myself. I have been addicted to my running on my professional quality treadmill fr years and get in at least 40 minutes per day. It's located in the same room as my office setup. When I was in London, I used to attend the gym every mornng before work. Running in the evenings when I worked...

This is my favourite part. Such an advantage to being in the office and, my god, what a productivity gain. Looking forward to Schumi's memoirs to see what other personal and professional highlights will be in there....

When they first started talking about going back to the office once a week, the other option was just to have a night out once every two weeks. It was explained the purpose was not to get people into the office but, rather, to gain something from people spending time together. It was decided Tuesdays...

And two contractors who recently joined the team WFH in the UK through their uk ltds, have an SOW from the client, are outside IR35 and fully tax compliant with both Dutch and UK law. We have one member living in Belgium, one in Latvia and two working as independants from India (Dutch permanent residents)...

I don't live in the UK so don't really care what HMRC thinks. I don't even live in the Netherlands. I run an EU business that has an SOW with a Dutch bank. I don't have the generous banking benefits (discount loans, mortgages, credit card rates) the bank's employees have. Nor do I have the generous...

That's funny. I just got renewed for another year. Few of my colleagues ever go to the office the one "onsite day" at the Dutch big four bank I contract to. I've been there exactly twice so far in 4 1/2 years. A third attempt to go into the office turned into just a weed run and I ended up...

I'm just a day trader. Still buying and selling stocks that have incorporated AI into their name as the general investment community has no clue about tech. My favourite was an American company that made tennis balls one day and woke up the next day as an AI firm. Stock went straight up and straight...

AI will have the exact same crash as the dot.com boom. Hard to figure out which one will be bigger.

During the 1999 dot.com boom, any penny stock company that sent out runours of internet involvement went from nothing to gold and then later nothing.

    Now, they just stick AI...
