A feature described Tessa Thompson as African American. Born in the US, the actor has Latino and European as well as African heritage. Also, the British Asian actor Dev Patel was born in the UK, not India (White pride and prejudice, 22 April, G2, p4).
Analysis by the Joseph Rowntree Foundation found that the latest benefit rises marked the greatest fall in the value of unemployment benefits in 50 years, not that pensions and benefits have fallen to their lowest value in 50 years as we said in an article and its headline (Cost of living crisis: UK benefits plunge to lowest level in 50 years despite soaring prices, 11 April, p7).Comment
