    midweek hols - any advice?

does anyone have any advice about getting last minute holiday deals that aren't for 7 nights?

I've got next week off (between jobs) and I'd like to make the most of my free time by going off to somewhere warm and sunny (any destination suggestions welcome!)... the very earliest I can go is sunday and I'd have to be back either on friday or saturday morning, all due to having to house hunt on saturday and having to move the following saturday ready to start work on the monday.

I've checked lastminute.com but they only seem to offer 7/14night deals which is no use

Maybe the Italian cities - good time of year now. Use the budget airlines to fly into Rome, a few days there and the train up to Florence then onto Milan and fly out from there. Or go east - west, Venice, Verona [Dolomites] then Milan/Turin?

Or get a train to Brindisi and stay in corfu for a few days :-)

The pink palace used to be £7 a night (exactly the same accom you would get on a package hliday) and picks up from the ferry
The court heard Darren Upton had written a letter to Judge Sally Cahill QC saying he wasn’t “a typical inmate of prison”.

But the judge said: “That simply demonstrates your arrogance continues. You are typical. Inmates of prison are people who are dishonest. You are a thoroughly dishonestly man motivated by your own selfish greed.”

                  Define "help"?

Janey, you could always nip over to Cambridge and take me for a walk, I could do with the exercise!

Better off creating your own package, find out where the budget airlines fly too then do a google on local hotels at those destinations and book direct. A lot of areas are before the main holiday season so you could get good prices.
