We're no experts, but the researchers did admit to using Reynolds brand aluminum foil, rather than the classic tin foil, and we wonder if this could have skewed the results.

This is the reason Tin Foil was phased out as a commercial product and aluminium foil introduced to replace it. Far from being a "better" product is was solely to prevent the masses having easy access to protective materials!
