    Stupid useless Windows 7 crashed during my database upgrade overnight - somewhere between 82% and 100% (but before 100% since it is still showing as needing an upgrade).

    6 hours it took before crashing, and now I'll have to start again.

                      XP 64-bit crashes more frequently than 7 does (so far).

                      I've now uninstalled the driver for the scanner - another BSOD. Now uninstalled the driver for the CD-ROM drive and DVD drive and see how that fares.

                      Rather frustrating, to say the least - I bought 7 to try and stop it crashing. How naive.
