    Noted. I've tended to sandwich (no pun intended) the egg between two slices of bacon, but I will give your method a go.

      he's right you know. i'm with the vdf. mustard / mayo / ketchup maybe but no need for butter. and if it is soft fresh granary the butter needs to be soft too or it will rip the bread when attempting to spread.
