I don't dispute raspberry jelly's niceness. It just isn't usually sufficient to warrant the moniker 'tea' all by itself.Originally posted by cailin maith View Post

I know 'tea' need no longer be 'meat and two veg' but it is usually something that can, at least, be bunged in between two pieces of bread. And jelly does not normally fit that bill, not even in Pret A Manger. My all-time favourite Dilbert cartoon, this is: BTW, a Dumpster is a brand of skip, I think.Comment

True - it's just tonight I wasn't really that hungry! I had lunch late and quite a few cups of tea so when I opened the fridge, it was the jelly that appealed. I'm a big fan of jelly, I think it's thoroughly under-rated but I do agree with you not even Pret Jelly can go between two slices of bread!!Originally posted by RichardCranium View PostI don't dispute raspberry jelly's niceness. Also when I was in M&S earlier, I found those "Pikelet" things again.... they are a bit like skinny (not as thick) crumpets.... delish toasted! I only discovered them quite recently!Bazza gets caught
