Indeed. And given the spiders and other wildlife around here, it was like a ...

        ... rumble in the jungle.

I've still got 4 old ones to take to the tip.

I've had a couple of Ibuprofen as I'm aching all over.

God knows how the DD1 feels. She helped most of the morning lifting and slotting the panels in. DD2 helped by loading the car up with rubbish.

In took them to bargain booze for a desert after lunch - chunky kitkat and a double decker

last night as I was a little tired and hadn't planned the evening meal - it was take away pizza, chips and cheesy garlic bread.

Then the kids had a cookie watching X-Factor

I broke a drill bit putting the panels in... I was piloting the holes for either screw (if the drill had any charge) or BIG nail.

I preferred the BIG nail approach.

I have seen my brother and my brother-in-law and people on the telly remove a drill bit by holding the chuck in their hand and briefly pressing the drill trigger.

So some years ago I did the same thing when I wanted to change the drill bit.

I touched the drill trigger, the bit flew out, it hit something, snapped, one half hit the window, bounced back and hit the lens of my (glass, not plastic) glasses.

It happened so fast I didn't get time to dodge or anything.

There was a small chip in the middle of the right hand lens. Half an inch in front of my eye.

It was the pointy end of the drill bit that had nearly blinded me.

I never did find the other half (the blunt end) of the drill bit.
