I was in a quiet little pub like that in Essex, and went to pick a book from a shelf near the fireplace, only to find that all three dozen or so books on the shelf were held in place by a thick wire threaded through a hole neatly drilled in the middle of each and screwed tightly into the bookcase at either end.Originally posted by NickFitz View Post
