Re-do the DVD shrink so that it exports an "ISO" file and then use ROXIO et al to create the DVD.Originally posted by FiveTimes View Postok so I've ripped a couple of DVD's using dvdshrink and I've got the following AUDIO_TS and VIDEO_TS.
What is the best app for writing to DVD ?
DVD shrink will also work on the *_TS files if you point it to the relevant directory so the ISO will be generated quicker.
In future generate the ISO by default.Comment

I've just found a book of first class stamps - the Christmas 2005 design
I wonder if they still count as first class? They would have been cheaper then than first class now

Yup, a bit of Googling (the Royal Mail site being utterly useless) revealed that they're OK.Originally posted by Churchill View PostYes they do.

However, I'm having to post an A4 envelope with quite a few sheets, which attracts a higher charge these days; so I'll have to stick two stamps on that one, as if I folded it to fit in a smaller envelope, it would be too thick and attract the higher charge anyway
Whatever happened to the simple "up to this weight, one standard stamp" idea

I feel very full after dinner - lamb chops etc.
I'd forgotten how much one appreciates home cooking when one only gets to eat at home a couple of times a week.Comment

Best of luck to your mum with her op...
My dad had something similar some years ago.
It's my mum's 85th birthday today...
