The savings we have made are going to be spent on dish washer. We've never had one before and the "better" half would like one.

They are great, especially given the amount of washing up that a meal with 4 kids generates. We really missed ours at Christmas when we went away for the week, as the cottage where we were staying didn't have one. I seemed to spend a lot of that week with my hands in the sink.
