I texted our very own BOFH this afternoon to congratulate him on the commencement of The Great Escape.

We (CCFC) have numerous things we could teach you. Rule 1 - always, always, always leave it to the last day of the season to seal it.

Rule 2 - wherever possible make sealing it dependent on someone else's performance (X loosing, or Y winning).

Rule 3 - in addition to this, try and bring goal difference into it!

That great escape season we were bottom of league at kickoff, and fourth from bottom after it. I may have been slighly hoarse for the remainder of the weekend following that.

Worryingly, as I was unable to go shopping today - I am reduced to drinking our good paddle weilding friend's finest tulipe in a tin.
