Got to nip to Solihull to take signed contract and stuff into Agency - ready to go to ClinetCo in the morning. At least the did not ask for references until I got the contract so I think it is fair.

Hubby is off today - just fancied a day off, pottering around sorting out his CD's.

Good luck at ClientCo tomorrow - is that the only day you're going this side of Christmas?

I could do with a day off just pottering. I might as well be at home - still waiting for a server to be fixed at ClientCo. I think I might have to offer to do it myself.

Oh well - I day ( well half) is better than nothing, and I will get to know how long the contract is for - I am hoping to say they need me for the audit they have on the 31st March.

Not really - We are having a conference call with the s/w company in the states to advise how long they think the project will take. The have to get one module up and running with staff trained by the end of March. I feel I will not be needed after that ( due to cost) as long as I give them the requirements and a plan to follow to implement the other modules. Hopefully, there will be some spin off consultancy days which I could juggle with another contract.

I was chatting to a mate of mine at the weekend, and he was relating how there had been a lot of police activity at the house over the road from him over the last few days. Turns out it could be the home of this fella
