Ooh, that's OK then
I noticed on Saturday night that I was a couple of days late paying off my credit card, which meant they'd try to whack me with an overdue payment fee
Given that the minimum payment due was just sixty-five pence, and I was paying the full amount of the balance, I sent them a message arguing that it would be a little harsh to penalise me, excellent record, etc. - but I didn't hold out much hope, as of course they do very nicely out of these charges.
Got a message back today thanking me for letting them know that payment would be late, and telling me that they wouldn't impose any charge
Not bad of them, given it was purely my own mistakeComment
