Keep moving, but gently & take it easy on the lifting.
try laying flat on your floor with you feet/legs up on the settee or chair when you rest. It does help; believe me.

Thanks Diver - That's what I am doing, keeping on the move but slowly and avoiding lifting the children.
'Take it easy on the lifting' - That's why my w/end jobs are out. Here's some of the list:
3 trees to cut down and remove, roots to be dug out.
New raised bed to be made from oak sleepers, fill with compost.
Replace kitchen sink with ceramic one.
