Try sticking the dongle somewhere else... for better reception... so to speak...

No it's not. Er, so someone told me
Where are we going? And what’s with this hand basket?

Have to be up early in the morning, so may pop a pill and go to bed soon.
        Bored anyway

Slow can be better if the mood is right

(Hasty addition: I can manage fast if needed... most days )

              Anyway...

                Evening denizens

I hope you're all well when you read this tomorrow, including those of you who never bother checking back behind the point when you make your first post of the day ("I live in the moment!!! [checks watch to see if it's lunchtime yet]") and will, therefore, never read it

No, no, I don't want to break up... FFS, what's happened to my bandwidth[*]! It keeps breaking up!

I assume that this is the reason that this limitation of existing technology has been brought to your attention - although remember that these things work both ways. Your loud exclamations of disgust when you miss out on getting a handbag on Bid-Up TV are probably annoying the dirty old man too

You'll have them pushing the trolleys round Sainsbury's for you in no time - at that age, they're ripe for Pavlovian conditioning!

That reminds me, there's a good cartoon in the latest Private Eye - captioned "Pavlov's Cat", it shows a cat sticking the middle finger of its paw up at the viewer

(For the pedants such as myself: the artist has correctly depicted the cat as extending the phalanges that would correspond with the middle finger in all creatures having pentadactyl limbs. Although the advent of the Internet, and particularly the application thereof commonly known as the World Wide Web, has brought many benefits to humankind, it does allow pedants such scope that one can scarcely describe a joke without having to add a bunch of footnotes [citation needed]).
