Last nights bulb changing activities were as follows.
7 x R50 spots changed from 40W to 25W.
Saving 105W (0.1 KWH per hour)
7 x GU10 Spots changed from 50W halogens to 1.2W LEDs.
From 350W to 8.4W (0.340 Kwh per hour)
2 ceiling lights changed from 150W to 11W (0.278 kwh per hour)
Total saving 0.718 Kwh per hour.
Say lights are on for 4 hours thats 2.872 kwh per day and at 10.3p per kwh thats 29.6p per day.
So the cost of the bulbs were £45. So repayment in 152 days or 5 months.
Plus I've kept the old bulbs so I can take them with me when I move.
That concludes this wilmslow-esque post.Comment
