I forgot the girl begging for change on the station forecourt...
What has this country become?
Did you mean Wales, or the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland?
The beggars in London did my head in... they're reasonably under control in the fair (to middling) city in which I reside, but the weirdoes that accost you on the south-east corner of Leicester Square have to be seen to be believed
Mind you, when I spent time in Bristol, the beggars there did my head in as well. There was this lass who would actually come into the pub and go around the tables asking people for money... she'd hold out a hand with a few coins in it, demanding (as of right) that you made it up to a certain amount... and if you did, she'd pocket the coins, move to the next table, and make the same demand again to the people sitting there, as if you weren't going to notice
Normally the bar staff (and I'm talking here about several pubs, across the entire extent of Bristol's rather widely distributed centre) noticed her pretty rapidly and slung her back out on the street. Still, you were in with a fighting chance of meeting her again (and half-a-dozen others) as you made your way through the underpasses at the St James Barton roundabout
However the instructions on "How to operate a basil plant" from Sainsburys proved correct. Apparently one should water it sparingly when it "shows actual signs of wilting". Given that my fine, upstanding plant had drooped all over the place like a broken umbrella, I gave it a drink, and half an hour later it was looking more like its old self
Lord only knows how things would have panned out if I'd been in London - it drooped all of a sudden, so I couldn't have taken any preventative measures without a webcam and an artificial intelligence algorithm that has not yet been invented
This means that it must have been either somebody who knew FG's password, or one of the admins.
As the post was no different to any of the other posts immediately surrounding it (all by FG, and all dead links to the same link farm) one can only hazard a conjecture as to why the admins would have deleted that particular post, at that particular time, on that particular night.
I have the original post, should they wish to reinstate it.

Reason: Putting the word "either" in the correct place :emb:

My daughter's tomato seeds did not fare so well - but they were left with no water for 3 days...
