It was ace - though the journey up was like driving through a shower for an hour. Drove through 2 serious floods. Kids had a great time.
My son played up in the hours before we left - he went to the quack today. And will be referred to a child poyschologist. Which makes me very nervous - I think I might be about to get a damn good shoeing....

He will be ok - the psychologist won't be that bad - I am sure it will help you understand whats going on in his head and help you to deal with it in a way that keeps you both happy. It will be grand

I certainly hope so. But my experience of child professionals has been poor so far.
I still think that as I share many traits with him (though not nearly to the same extent) I am in the best position to help him - unlike his mother who can hardly look after herself.
