The smell of burning sugar and chlorate... heady stuff.... when I was doing such experiments the nasty business across the water hadn't got into full flow...

I suspect that some of my tinnitus is down to that too... especially the gallon can experiment... that made a real bang.

But I've still got all my fingers (currently).
