remember than money market spot date can be different to fx spot date. first is holidays/weekends in 1 country - second involves 2 countries.

There already is a barely penetrable border. It is called "a combination of the M25 and the train service".Originally posted by BrilloPad View PostLondon is great! And I dont have a long commute Monday/Friday to have a job.
Just you wait until there is a border at the M25 - and only those who live inside can work inside.
You know how the government used to go on about "an integrated transport network"?
Can you remember how integration and differentiation were the really hard stuff in Maths at school?
Well, the gov finds transport integration too hard too.

Park bench? Park bench? You could afford a park bench?Originally posted by Diver View PostNot everyone wants to live/sleep on a park bench
You were lucky.
When I were lad, all we could afford were a paving slab. 16% mortgage, no-one in work and another heavy industry dropping dead at us feet every day.

this is due to base/term thing. If you have an option on, say, IBM, your hedge is say 100 - which is clearly IBM shares. But if IBM price is 44 your hedge could be 4400 - which is the $ amount to buy/sell.Originally posted by BrilloPad View Postbefore talking about money market, I would like to say 1 final thing on fx. fx options (options I will talk about later) are far more complex than options on other products.Comment
