The Missus has a load of work to do so she wanted to check in early.
So we got to the hotel at 16:20.
There's a sign on the door saying "No-one in until 16:50".
So we went for a drive, found lots of closed shops and came back at 16:50.
Door still locked, sign still there.
So we went to the pub up the road - surprise, surprise: football.
So we left after one drink and came back to the hotel at 17:20. Door still locked.
Missus says "They went into extra time - I bet they're in the pub".
At 17:45 some greasy-haired, 18 year old ****** turns up to let us in.
Missus BI was not impressed.
We spent an hour and 25 minutes waiting to check in.

It involved doing pyrotechnics for a band in my student daysOriginally posted by zeitghost View PostHow did you blow your hand up?
Are you Cap'n Hook?
I was forced to conclude that one shouldn't work with pyrotechnics and drink alcohol at the same time
So I stopped working with pyrotechnics

and I've learned my lesson about shaking the keyboard out the window to get the crumbs out. Last time I did that, I dropped it and there were keys and bits of plastic all over the patioOriginally posted by BrowneIssue View PostYou'll need to eat more than keyboardy toast crumbs.
