Margate sounds good though. I haven't been there for years.

Went to Kent last weekend for the first time, ever. Loved Canterbury, and to be honest, preferred Whitstable over Margate, but the best bit was a 2 hour walk along the top of the white cliffs of Dover. We tried the cliff path, but fortunately wifey was too scared to continue, so I didn't have to fight my own fears

The whole Valentine thing was a nightmare for me. It started off text book style with the gifts, cards and a lovely homecooked meal, then somehow, it careered off into an almighty argument, with overnight spent in separate rooms!

You sound as if you are divorced? How many children? How much access do you get?

Hi BP, yes divorced (but since re-married). Have 1 daughter and ex gives me pretty much unlimited access although it tends to be 1 day a weekend although I am moving away from the area so will probably end up being 1 full weekend every couple of weeks.

Ex is being pretty reasonable (although it was her that left to have an affair). I think it came as a shock to her that I met someone else, especially as my daughter really likes my new wife. Ex's safety net had suddenly vanished (i.e. I wasn't waiting around for her to come back).
