We did Whitstable last weekend - it was nice...

Ex is being pretty reasonable (although it was her that left to have an affair). I think it came as a shock to her that I met someone else, especially as my daughter really likes my new wife. Ex's safety net had suddenly vanished (i.e. I wasn't waiting around for her to come back).

Sorry that you are having a rough time. Not your mother?
I am pleased the divorce was not too bad. You may have seen some of my f4j comments?

Dont ask about my mum! Best I say no more!

Is there somewhere I could push a buggy along the sea-front?

Yes, the promanade is wide and flat. The main shopping street, just a street or so back from the prom is mainly pedestrian zone too.

It is about 5 years since I last went but it had a lovely feel about the place. Fairly quiet.

                I gave up on 22nd December 1989

The gf is a chef - she loved digging out the apple recipe. Apparently it is melting the butter that sets off the reaction.

When you feel like it, could I have the recipe for the chocolate one? Wife works for Mars, and we always have a garage full.

Don't you just love places that don't keep up to date records
