I'm rather hoping this snow goes away before tomorrow - it is going to be a long drive as it is.

Perhaps I could rig up:

a) an 0870 fax number to email service (I already have one of those);

and

b) some OCR software (which I have)

and

c) a bit of scripting.

I might be able to create a way of maintaining net access via a fax machine.

Watching Timewatch, The £10 poms...

There's a programme about Factory Records on BBC 2 tonight I'm planning to record.

A friend of mine was a prominent act on Factory in the early 80s (it's said that he was offered the job of fronting Joy Division after Ian Curtis killed himself), so I'm hoping to have a laugh at what he looked like in his younger days
