The picture I have of her as a teenager, when we first started going out, has an effect upon me which would - post Soham - put the fear of God into any father of a teenage girl. Yet real teenagers (now less than half my age) hold no attraction at all (rather: repulsion, pity or fear as appropriate).

How am I supposed to reconcile that in my head?
