I had even applied to join the "Not Terribly Good Club of Great Britain" many years ago but heard nothing more.
I probably cocked up the address.

My father was of the opinion that a man should be able to build a house with his own hands, Repair a car, Weld and forge Metals, Cook and Bake, Keep his own House (Ironing, Washing and all that carp), Play an Instrument, Hunt, Handle himself well in a fight, be literate and be reasonably proficient at Math.Originally posted by BrowneIssue View PostJust one of those blokes who is not very good at anything much. I am one of those who was 'rescued' by the Scout Association, learned some skills, learned some stuff about myself (strengths and weaknesses), developed self-respect and realised I was not worthless.
I've since built on that.
I can do a decent fried egg butty too.
