A few years ago my wife & I made a trip to Wigan by narrowboat just to see this famous pier. I had done no research beforehand so did not know what to expect.Originally posted by FiveTimes View PostBut not as good as Wigan Pier
I genuinely expected to end up at the seaside, to moor up just before the sea-dock and to walk along to the front to the pier.

I am SO glad I went to see Wigan Pier. I am even more glad I did not know what to expect.Drivelling in TPD is not a mental health issue. We're just community blogging, that's all.
