I spent some time there in the 80s. Is the ring sill the same i.e. the crossover between the inner andouter ring is a 100 metre gap in te concrete wall that seperates the two? It was fun back then, but modern traffic levels must make it even better.I am not qualified to give the above advice!

Sounds like the Birmingham one? When I was a boy racer(long long time ago) it used to scare me to death even then.Comment

I think deleting posts to grab major milestones is out of order.
Though I may go back and do a little as I seem to remember being close for the 10k and possibly others.
That should bugger it all up.I am not qualified to give the above advice!

100 metres to get you on or off the road - on more than one occasion I went round the ring road a few times, having failed to get off the road
