The bar. But wherever probably wouldn't be good enough for me anyway; I only drink well-kept real ale (I'd sooner have a soft drink than drink lager) and I abhor soulless chains (I've only been in a Wetherspoon's once, and although the beer was actually moderately drinkable, I won't be going back as it was utterly bereft of character).

Which is why I hadn't put myself on the list - there's precisely one pub worth going to in the Soho/Covent Garden/Leicester Square area (which are the best areas for a shindig), it's too small for a group of twenty or so on a Friday (when it's always busy anyway), and besides, I'm keeping it to myself
