Remember this?
I've just started reading the book:
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Mighty-Micr.../dp/0340259752
Which has, of course, sat unregarded on the bookshelf since I bought it from the library at Ye Olde Sloughe of Desponde rather a long time ago.
It cost 20p.When the fun stops, STOP.Comment

I find it rather sad that he died before the book was published.
But there you go.
I pulled it from the bookshelf as a bit of relief from the Latest Tome: yet another 800 page epic "A Bright Shining Lie", being a history of John Vann in Vietnam, wherein I've reached page 80, so only 700 or so to go.
<hiatus>
Tea this evening was more of yesterday's roast lamb.
It was nice enough, followed by more of that odd tasting ground rice.
All rounded off with 1.05 pints of Good Glengettie Tea.
There seems to be very little of innerest on the tv this evening.Last edited by DoctorStrangelove; 16 September 2019, 17:05.When the fun stops, STOP.Comment

There’s some good films available on the BBC iPlayer app at the momentComment

very nice.
big row with partner earlier took the edge off a bit though.
ever wish an alzheimers sufferer would just pop off??
it's harsh, but they have NO idea how everone else's life is fecked up by it.
will to live lost again.

Ribs and chips for tea
Clear night out, so the Moon’s putting on a good show but it’s getting chilly: down to around 12°C already. Still holding at 21° in here though.Comment
