weird. its a simple phrase. i been trying to play this song for years. years.

yeah - not that much! i'm older and wiser. i take a sip or two. well, ok a glass or two.

been trying to get it right for a long time. it's not technically challenging at all. i could just never get it to work for me.

i've tried it all sorts of different ways over the years but i could never get it to sound or feel right for me.

i suppose a year or two ago i got something that kind of worked and i have been tinkering closer and closer.

and now. bam! it is in my head. the technical picking, the sound and shape the whole damn thing is in my head all the time.

i can hear it as perfectly as if i was playing it. weird. never had it before and i have been playing guitar for what.. 30 years?

it is like i can taste the sound. most odd. not displeasing at all - far from it. i made it. ok, i took the structure from someone else but the end sound is quite different.
