Just been reading an article about boredom in New Scientist.

Home again, with a nice pot of tea
Hardly got rained on at all out at Bradgate. I followed a deer track through the bracken, and found an oak tree growing like the filling in a rock outcrop sandwich:

Fun rock fact #471: the rocks at Bradgate are some of the oldest, and in other parts some of the youngest, in Europe. The ones in the picture are among the oldest, having been formed when that neck of the woods was part of a volcano in the southern tropics, off the coast of Gondwana
