for example my daughter was in the park on a swing and I wanted to take a shot and althogh I had a fast shutter speed I could not get the focus.....

The reason I havn't posted much here recently is cos I only actually sopend about 2 days a week on site.

I think what I needed to do is set a fixed focu lenght I try to take the picture as she was in that part of the focus....
