Just had an email with a survey requesting opinions about the mandatory staff development crap at the beginning of the month.

WFH today, then set off for Peru this evening.

My lovely friend who I sometimes meet for lunch bought me a walking pole, which was really unexpected so therefore very nice.

HR Manager: Why, whats wrong

HR Drone: We had a response back from one of the labs.

HR Manager: So?

HR Drone: It's smoking, also, I think it might be ticking. And theres a note attached asking if we have any Chianti.

Just had an email with a survey requesting opinions about the mandatory staff development crap at the beginning of the month.

Our lot have got similar - some kind of online personal development for which they also have to go to "discovery meetings."

And I quote:

"[This project] is going to build a new future for [dept] and for each of us. We will be using Pathfinder as an online tool to share our stories and support each other during this journey. It will also be a valuable resource and is integral to the Discovery sessions that all [dept] staff will be participating in over the coming months."

Luckily I'm not a permie and so exempt. Pity - I was so looking forward to sharing my stories and supporting each other.

I'm not altogether sure that a <pfffffffffffffffffffffffft> won't end in a follow through.

Last day at ClientCo, 17 months is too long to not get attached, I am gonna miss this place (
