They were very dull. Looked like someone had walked up the road randomly chucking film cannisters at street signs.Originally posted by BrilloPad View Post
For an intelligent lady like you that must only have taken a few minutes.
Do I win towards tpd award for toadyism?
However the finder before me had commented "another great cache!" so gawd knows how bad the previous ones he's looked for must have been. Unless of course he hates interesting places and well hidden containers.Comment

I've found a couple of tins of sardines at the back of the cupboard that were BBE Dec 2013. Do I figure they'll probably be OK and eat them anyway, or take the cautious approach and bin them? It's not as if they're expensive…Comment

You can't smell or taste botulism, so I wouldn't worry about it over much.

I'm cooking some lentil soup that I've just prepared.
Never done it before & I don't know ZeitMater's recipe, so I'll be interested to see how it turns out.
I think I've put too many lentils in it, but that's not the end of the world.
Unless you're Suity.

I bought some lentils once, but I didn't have the faintest idea what to do with them. I think I must have chucked them away after a few years.Originally posted by zeitghost View PostI'm cooking some lentil soup that I've just prepared.

Oddly, it tastes about right.Originally posted by zeitghost View PostI'm cooking some lentil soup that I've just prepared.
It looks about right too.
It's about the only way I like eating parsnip.
Mostly coz you can't taste the parsnip.
I suppose my next experiment will be making stew.
You can taste the parsnip in that coz it's in lumps.
