Morning
Cold, rain overnight, but not too damp this morning; Daimler started and ran fine, unlike yesterday evening when it needed 5 minutes of warming up to be able to idle, then ran a bit rough for the first few minutes. Oh the wonders of British motor engineering; in fact it IS wonderful when everything works, but I have to make allowances for it being built by militant trade unionists in Coventry. And what exactly is wrong with an "ad hominem" argument? Actually, the older 6 and 12 cylinder Jaguars and Daimlers would have been brilliant if not for the idiots employed in the factory. There are plenty still running but most have been completely rebuilt and improved with some modern bits.
Apparently when the Queen's XJ12 was delivered, her mechanics found porn mags stuffed behind the door trim and oily rags in the gearboxAnd what exactly is wrong with an "ad hominem" argument? Dodgy Agent, 16-5-2014Comment
