There is no large invoice to justify the existance of the 'Process Improvement Manager' and his 18 month best practice software analysis phase.

He's a permie, and he keeps complaining about contractors earning too much. Someone suggested to him that he tried contracting, and then he said 'yes, but who would hire me?'

He didn't seem to understand the profound accuracy of what he'd said.

Well clientco is going to implode soon - 6 weeks ago I thought this gig had some legs and would run and run.
As each day passes and the more I learn about clientco and the systems I think I'll have done well to get to end of contract
